ChatGPT is great, but r2 makes me feel a lot safer using it. When choosing between paying for GPT-4 or R2 for my studies, I would much rather go for R2.
Everyone in my group uses AI and maybe I’m paranoid, but I would hate to see snippets of my paper show up in someone else’s work out of the blue. Better safe than sorry lol. It’s worth the few extra $$$ for me.

There is no denying that AI is changing writing forever. As a professional, I know these tools are helpful, but I cannot help but feel like undermining myself by letting it use my writing as training material.
With R2 I no longer have this uneasy feeling and can finally take advantage of AI in my line of work without compromising myself. That alone makes it worth every penny.
